Who we are...
We are a multi-media company on a mission to search out the simple facts. In a world where truth has become blurred and often replaced by comfortable narratives, we aim to cut through the noise.
Each of us increasingly seeks confirmation for our own worldview—it comforts us, but it also divides us. At Both Barrels Media, we give it our best shot, wherever the truth may lead.
Both barrels: to hunt for truth (facts) with everything we’ve got, then proclaim it boldly.

What we do...
We are determined to rise above the clutter, not add to it. Whether it’s politics, religion, or living an abundant life in the light of God’s grace, we’re here to dive deep. Send it our way, and we’ll give you clarity.
At times, we’ll print dissenting voices, and when we do, we’ll respectfully offer our opposing view. Our lives are short, the noise is deafening—so let’s cut to the chase. What’s the forest for the trees?
As Bishop Fulton Sheen once observed:
“There are millions who oppose what they believe the Catholic Church is… but only a handful oppose what the Catholic Church really teaches.”
We take this to heart and aim to make the truth clear—boldly, simply, and without compromise.
What we believe...
Yes, our founder is Catholic. He and his wife were once in church startup leadership aka Evangelical mega church/seeker church circles. (Willow Creek)
- We are Pro Life
- We believe in Ad Orientem, Communion on the tongue by a Consecrated Priestly hand
- We need to restore the reverence to the Mass
But most of all, seeking the lost sheep of the Church…the un-catechized…and the unchurched. We believe the ‘seeker’…the unchurched, need to find home again. We need to help them find the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church without chasing them away.
We recognize that the Churches reputation and character is at an all time low. We promote the truth of the Church as it was once delivered. We cling to Gods grace to bring this about. A pastor at the Evangelical ‘seeker’ church that I was a part of once responded to a concern I had about discipleship this way…
” I see our mission as to stand at the door and invite people into the world of Christianity…once in they may go and explore all Christianity has to offer.”
Both Barrels Media’s mission is to evangelize and to re-evangelize… To stand at the door and to invite them into the true Church, the once-delivered Church. We reflect this discipleship back into our Church and communities.
“To the Deaf, You Shout”
People today are numb to so much. Protestants and Evangelicals believe they’ve arrived, yet many feel a deep, unspoken yearning calling them home. Many Catholics, too, find themselves drifting.
Mark Twain wisely said:
“It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”
Flannery O’Connor captured this challenge well:
“When you can assume that your audience holds the same beliefs you do, you can relax and use more normal means of talking to it; when you have to assume that it does not, then you have to make your vision apparent by shock. To the hard of hearing you shout, and for the almost-blind you draw large and startling figures.”
At Both Barrels Media, we believe our work is to shake things up—not for the sake of shock but to jolt people into seeing the truth. Our world, our lives, and our politics are stubborn and difficult things to prod. Sometimes, though, just the right jolt will do.
Let’s herald the truth, as simply and loudly as we can.

Meet Redford — observer, commentator, and occasional basement operative.
Redford lives out on Yellowboots Farm. But he doesn’t stay there.
From time to time, he makes his way down into the basement catacombs of Both Barrels HQ—where the lights are low, the mics are hot, and the noise of the world gets stripped down to what it really is.
He shows up in places you wouldn’t expect. Says things most won’t.And sees things people pretend not to notice. Redford isn’t here to play a part.
He’s here because in a world full of spin, noise, and endless talking—somebody has to actually call it. And when he does…you’ll hear it.

“And Then There’s Cassidy”
Every straight shooter needs someone to push back.
Cassidy is a regular on Yellowboots Farm. He shows up. No one’s quite sure how. Or why. They’ve grown found of providing color commentary on the goings on at the farm.
When Redford starts talking, Cassidy’s usually not far behind—asking questions, poking holes, or saying what others are thinking but won’t say out loud.
If Redford calls it straight—Cassidy makes sure it lands.
Together, they don’t just comment on the world.
They pull it apart.
